Nara

Since early 2005, the team responsible for planning, support and Ansp improvement has been located in Prodesp (The Health Division of Data Processing Company of São Paulo State), within HCFMUSP (Hospital das Clínicas, in the Medical College of São Paulo University). From that time this work office has been named Core Network to Academic Support (Nara).

However, on top of managing Ansp Network, Nara also pursues the following objectives:

• collaboration with Neti (The Core Expertise in Information Technology of HC) in the hospital network improvement and knowledge update of Neti team members;
• preparation of scientific works in information technology areas (IT), particularly in networks, signal processing (both for traffic and biological signals, considering that the mathematical tools are the same), mathematical modeling, applied mathematics to biomedical areas and knowledge management;
• systems maintenance for academic environment and for social purposes, represented by the following projects: a) The Virtual Incubator; and b) The Authentication Provider of Grid, connected to The Americas Grid Policy Management Authority (TAGPMA), in collaboration with GridUnesp.

Experience and background of Nara members enable the goals above, which is also done with students, employees and partners help, that bring new capabilities, competencies and knowledge for the team.
